Thursday June 19 Cairo-Bahariya

  • Depart to Baharia, Valley of the Golden Mummies. Upon reaching Bahareya oasis, we tour the city, have lunch, visit the Museum, the funerary temple of Baouiti, the tombs of bonnentoui & zed Amoun El Ankh, the Temple of Alexander the great, tombs of nobles and English mountain. Later we enjoy the the swimming pool and hot spring Hotel Qasr El Bawity.

Friday June 20 Bahariya - el Sahra

  • Baharaiya and Desert Day, we'll plunge deep into the desert again, the black desert and its volcanic remains, the white desert and its unusual limestone formations, crystal mountain, unique oases, mummies, Roman ghost towns and pottery. The day will make the desert come alive as no book or video could ever do; at sunset we explore the formations that resemble the surface of a different planet.  The night is spent camping in the magical white desert including BBQ lamb feast.

Saturday June 21 Farafra - Dakhla

  • After Breakfast, depart early to Farafra. Lunch, exploring/shopping, a swim in El-Mufid Lake and a dip in the hot springs at Bir Setta White Desert. Visit the village of Qalamounon , the Muzawaka tombs, Deir al-Hagar temple old city of Mut for lunch, Ein el Gabel, Overnight in Dakhla

Sunday June 22 Dakhla

  • Swim in the "Magic spring", vist the Rock inscriptions and enjoy some free time in Al-Qasr. Overnight in Dakhla

Monday June 23 Kharga Oasis

  • Depart early for Kharga, visit the Temple of Hibis, Temple of El-Deir, Qasr el Labeka, Necropolis of al-Bagawat. After lunch, explore the museum. Overnight at hotel in Kharga

Tuesday June 24 Luxor

  • Departure to Luxor by bus; overnight in Luxor

Wednesday June 25 Sharm el Sheikh

  • Departure to Sharm; overnight in Sharm.

Thursday June 26 Sharm el Sheikh - Nuweiba

  • Jeeb 4X4 to Canyon and Canyon mountain and Ein Hudra for camping and overnight.

Friday June 27 Canyon - St. Catherine's

  • By jeep to Wady Watar and Wadi Arada, then depart for St. Catherine, Overnight at St. Catherine

Saturday June 28 St. Catherine - Sarbit El Kadem

  • By 4X4 Catherine, Wadi Firan, departure to Nakab Badra, overnight in Tarbioum El Kadem.

Sunday June 29 Sarbit El Kadem - Cairo

  • Explore Sarabit El Kadem before departure to Cairo

Monday June 30 Cairo
